BROADCAST

COMPLEX PRODUCTIONS. As Creative Directors and Senior Creative Producers of The Voice Australia (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026), Joel and Rowena defined the creative vision for the show's nationally broadcast performances, key editorial environments and led the visual language. They originated creative concepts, secured executive approval, and led the multidisciplinary creative, technical and production teams through planning and pre-production to the delivery of complex performances and creative environments.

Their creative direction spans performances for Jason Derulo, Rita Ora, Melanie C, Adam Lambert, Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian, Kate Miller-Heidke, Jimmy Barnes, Richard Marx, LeAnn Rimes, Ronan Keating and Marcia Hines. They also led the creative direction of the live performances for the 2025 Logie Awards.

FOR THE ROOM. Live experience centres on bespoke experiences created from the ground up for each event.

For close to a decade, they served as trusted creative-direction partners to The Star Sydney, curating live experiences across its annual calendar of VIP and VVIP events.

STORY DRIVEN. Creative direction, directing, producing and cinematography for commercials, broadcast, music videos, video content and narrative film.

Their direction of Give You Love for Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo earned an ARIA Award nomination for Best Video, with Joel also serving as DOP. Jason later travelled them to Los Angeles to direct and shoot live-action screen content as well as creative direct screen visuals for Jason Derulo's world tour and act as creative consultants.

Graduates of AFTRS, Rowena in Screen Directing and Joel in Screen Cinematography, they continue to develop original film work. Films include Ellie Was Here, which premiered at the St Kilda Film Festival, written and directed by Rowena, with Joel as DOP. Joel also served as DOP on Invisible, which premiered at Flickerfest, screened at St Kilda FF and was featured on ABC iview.

COLLABORATION. They have also collaborated on choreography, movement direction and casting with Finch, Goodoil Films, Exit Films, Rabbit Content, Airbag and New Life Films Shanghai. Campaigns include Shanghai Disneyland, Uber Eats France, Telstra, Kmart, Domain, MasterFoods, Suncorp, UNO Home Loans, Carlton & United Breweries, McCain, RSPCA, Sydney Metro and TK Maxx, working with directors including Adam Stevens, Fiona McGee, Wade Shotter, Lachlan Dickie and Stuart Bowen.
